Texas Lantana is a tough perennial known for its brilliant red, orange, and yellow flowers that last from April through October. With bright green, rough and aromatic foliage that is resistant to deer, this sturdy, multi-branching plant will grow to about 4-6 feet tall and wide. The profuse blooms of this Texas native also attract beneficial pollinators including butterflies and birds. Texas Lantana is best suited to hot, dry, sunny locations and is tolerant of poor or rocky soils. Once established, it will require almost no care except pruning deeply before spring and periodically as needed for shape and size. An ideal plant for xeriscaping or neglected areas of the yard, use Texas Lantana in perennial beds, pollinator gardens, and native-focused areas. Creekside Nursery is proud to grow native Texas Lantana in 1 gallon containers.
