Evolvulus ‘Hawaiian Blue Eyes’ is a low growing, heat tolerant annual that produces small blue flowers. Its showy, sky blue, bell-shaped blooms with white eyes are similar to tiny morning glory flowers, and will flush repeatedly without deadheading. Tiny green leaves show hints of silver throughout the season, as the plant spreads in a neat mound to about 30” wide and 18” tall. Evolvulus is drought tolerant once established and grows in a variety of soil types. Plant in full sun for best flowering. Use ‘Hawaiian Blue Eyes’ in the summer garden as a low border, colorful groundcover, or mixed with perennials. It’s a lovely addition to containers or hanging baskets for a cascade of blue. Evolvulus ‘Hawaiian Blue Eyes’ is proudly grown at Creekside Nursery in 1 gallon containers.
