Cross Vine Tangerine Beauty

Crossvine Tangerine Beauty is available here at Creekside Nursery in 1 and 5 gallon staked sizes. This is a vigorous, woody vine that makes a great covering for fences and trellis work. Will attach to other surfaces via tendrils without causing ill effects to the surface. Clusters of tangerine-orange, trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow throats bloom all summer long. Easily grown in Zones 6 – 10, it can grow 10-20 feet tall and will spread as far as you will allow. Although it is a sun loving plant, it is highly adaptable and will grow in just about any condition. The hummingbirds, bees and other pollinators will love you for adorning your yard with one of these lovelies!

Aztec Gold Daylily

Aztec Gold Daylily has solid clean blooms that are dark golden yellow in color. Flowers stand out beautifully against the rather dark green grass-like foliage. Blooms start in early summer, and last throughout the entire summer season. This variety is an excellent re-bloomer, meaning that it is known to produce several "waves" of blooms throughout the summer months. Generally blooms all throughout summer, and well into the early fall. Re-blooming can be further increased & encouraged through the removal of old, expired blooms & stalks. Very low maintenance – it is one of the taller daylilies at maturity. Aztec Gold is a great bloomer - and its vibrant golden yellow color is virtually unmatched in any other daylily.

Gulf Stream Nandina

Gulf Stream Nandina or Heavenly Bamboo is a very hardy colorful evergreen shrub. New leaves are a bright scarlet red that turn to a blue green in the summer. As temperatures fall the leaves turn a bright scarlet red. This trouble free shrub with its compact shape is a great plant for foundation plantings or in a mixed bed. Partial sun to full sun with a 3ft height this nandina will add a great pop of color to in area.

Sandy Leaf Fig

If you are looking for a different ground cover Sandy Leaf Fig may be a good option. This evergreen ground cover grows to around 6" tall and can reach 5' in length. Bright green leaves transitions to an eye catching dark emerald green. This ivy will work well in sun or shade and will not climb. Plant in a container to spill over the sides for added interest.

Hosta

With many landscapes having a shady area where getting plants to thrive is a problem, a great solution is the Hosta. Blue Angel with its blue-green 16" leaves will fill in a large area with a great color contrast. You can also try Stained Glass with its golden leaves with green margins will add a bright spot to a shady area. Paradigm also has a bright golden-yellow leaf with a bluish green margin. Hosta plants also make great container plantings on patios.
