Our Crapemyrtles are at their summer finest right now with profuse blooms in various shades of pinks, red, white and light lavender. Pollinators of all kinds flock to these showy clusters. Some of these varieties also have beautiful colored foliage in the Fall and the variegated bark of their trunks also adds a touch of interest to their overall appeal. From the smaller Pocomoke variety up to the towering Arapahos, these ornamental trees adorn landscapes all over the country and are perfectly suited for all Texas climates.

White Variegated Dianella

Also known as Flax Lily, this is an evergreen perennial with grass-like foliage that is streaked green and white. Tall spires of lavender-blue flowers are followed by blue berries. Drought tolerant, and prefers partial shade, but can handle a few daily hours of full sun, especially in the coastal areas. Performs best in rich, loamy soil and thrives in Zones 8-10. Good for borders, beautiful planted en masse and does great in containers, too. Sold here at Creekside Nursery in 1 and 3 gallon containers.
