Cuphea 'Allyson'

Also known as Mexican or False Heather, this delicate-looking but tough and durable plant with small, deep green foliage and loads of tiny pinkish-purple flowers will bloom all summer long! Can be grown as an annual in cooler climates and is great for bedding, borders, and containers in warmer climates. This plant is considered self-cleaning, so deadheading is not necessary. Cuphea Allyson will grow to be about 24 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. This plant does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is also considered as drought tolerant. Hardy in Zones 9 and warmer, it may die back after hard frosts, but will re-grow from the roots.

Duranta 'Cuban Gold

The Cuban Gold variety of Duranta is a well-branched and low-growing heat-loving tropical that is useful as edging or for containers. It holds its dazzling golden-chartreuse color even in the toughest of summer heat and humidity! Occasional sprays of blue flowers are followed by attractive clusters of golden non-edible berries. Very versatile plant that brightens up any landscape!

Sandy Leaf Fig Ivy

This evergreen groundcover grows to around 6" tall and can reach 5' in length. This ivy will grow in sun or shade and does not climb. Stays short and tight where it gets sun, but will grow taller in the shade. Works well as a groundcover or plant it in a container to spill over the sides for added interest to a specimen plant. New leaves emerge as bright green and then transition to an eye catching dark emerald green as the plant matures. Sold here at Creekside Nursery in 1 gallon pots.

Yellow Flag Iris

The Yellow Flag Iris is a perennial plant that is native to Europe, North Africa, Great Britain and the Mediterranean area. Generally found along wetlands, streams, rivers or lakes in shallow mud or water, this hardy plant will also tolerate drier soil and high soil acidity. Gardeners often use this iris as an ornamental pond plant, and value the yellow flowers that bloom in the summer. Flag irises require minimal care and will grow to a mature size of 3-4' tall and 2-3' wide.

Silver Dragon Liriope

Silver Dragon Liriope is an herbaceous perennial with a ground-hugging habit of growth. Silver Dragon Liriope features spikes of lilac purple flowers rising above the foliage in late summer. Its attractive glossy grassy leaves remain green in color with showy silver variegation throughout the season. Silver Dragon Liriope will grow to be about 12 inches tall at maturity extending to 16 inches tall with the flowers, with a spread of around 1 ft.
