Texas Sage 'Silver Star'

‘Silver Star’ is a dense, compact form of Texas Sage, with silver-gray foliage and pink blooms.  Texas Sage is a durable shrub native to Texas and known for its heat and drought tolerance. Growing to about 3 to 5 feet tall and wide, ‘Silver Star’ is a neat and trim variety, suitable to many landscape applications.  Its tiny, silvery leaves bring a beautiful contrast to garden settings, while keeping a soft and natural texture.  Purplish-pink blooms appear throughout the season, notably in abundance in high humidity or after a rain.  Texas Sage will grow best in full sun and well drained soils, and benefits from occasional pruning to maintain shape and density.  ‘Silver Star’ is one of three varieties of Texas Sage available here at Creekside Nursery, and is grown in 3, 7, and 10 gallon containers.
