Yellow Bunny Ears Cactus is a petite and charming desert plant known for its unique texture. With small, bright green pads that are covered in bright yellow fuzzy dots of spine-like patches, it looks deceptively soft while still requiring careful handling. Sometimes grown as a houseplant, this little cactus grows very slowly but outdoors can spread to 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide. During spring and summer, it blooms small, cup-shaped yellow flowers that can produce 2” long reddish-purple fruits. Very heat and drought tolerant, this easy to grow cactus simply needs well drained soils and lots of sun. Pop this little beauty into the landscape for a burst of color and texture in rock gardens, containers, and xeriscapes. Yellow Bunny Ears Cactus is proudly grown at Creekside Nursery in 1 gallon containers.
