Needlepoint Holly

Needlepoint holly is a beautiful shrub with glossy, narrow, deep green foliage and an abundance of bright red berries in late fall.  The branches of needlepoint tend to aim more upright than other hollies as it slowly grows to about 10 feet tall and wide.  These hollies prefer moist, rich soils and will tolerate full sun to partial shade.  Also low maintenance, simply fertilize in the spring and prune as needed for shape.  Prized for its highly ornamental berries, needlepoint holly provides a pop of fall color interest and performs well as a screen, border, accent, or foundation plant.   Proudly grown at Creekside Nursery in 3 and 7 gallon containers.
