Fire Glow Kniphofia
Native to South Africa and commonly known as Red Hot Poker plants, this clumping perennial grown from rhizomes has narrow foliage and summertime blooms on tall stems.The flowers can last for weeks and give a dash of exotic flare for cut flower arrangements. Cutting the flower stalks can often encourage the production of more blossoms. Hummingbirds love the flowers and the plants are considered drought tolerant and rabbit resistant. They prefer sun to partial shade, have a mature size of 18-24” height and spread. Grows best in Zones 5-10.
