Chile Pequin Pepper

The Chile Pequin Pepper is an attractive annual hot pepper. At maturity, it can get to be between two and four feet tall. It has white flowers and little red peppers that are extremely hot. The Chile Pequin is about ten times hotter than a jalapeno pepper, hitting approximately 40,000 to 60,000 units on the scoville scale! The Chile Pequin has low water requirements and is very heat tolerant. It is easy to grow and is an excellent xeriscaping plant.
