Gold Strike Carex

Published August 21, 2014

Gold Strike Carex is a low maintenance, variegated, ornamental sedge. The leaves arch upward, then down in a grass-like clump and are a creamy gold in the center and green on the edges. This plant can be used as a colorful substitute for liriope or other grass like varieties. Gold Strike is deer resistant and is great in partly shaded areas as a groundcover or edger.
