One of the most popular of the Agaves, this compact form with blue-gray leaves arranged in a rosette and are edged in reddish-brown spines. When mature, yellow flowers appear on a tall stalk. Attractive in a rock garden or as a landscape specimen. Performs best when planted in well drained soils.
