Carex 'Ice Dancer'

Ice Dancer is a dense spreading sedge with a bright white edge. Grown for its contrasting foliage, this plant will complement most other plants in your garden. Evergreen in most climates, it adds a bright color in the winter months when most plants are dormant. 6-12" in height with a 1-3' spread and little to no maintenance. Use as a border, clumped together for an accent or as a container plant with spring or fall color for added interest.

Juncus 'Curly Wurly"

A fun looking plant with twisted, spiraling foliage. This plant will work well in areas with poor drainage or in aquatic containers. Plant as a mass planting, border edge or in a bog garden. This grass does best in a full sun to part shade areas and needs to stay moist. Grows to 18" in height and spread, and will work even in a city environment in small gardens or pots.

Carex Evergold

With its bright variegated foliage that is green and yellow, this plant offers great winter interest, along with adding great year round color. Great for an edging or rock garden or in clumps in a landscape. Works with any soil type in sun or in part shade. With a height to 8" and a spread of 12". Try planting Carex Evergold in a large container with salvia, firespike or even upright rosemary.

White Cloud Muhly

White Cloud Muhly with masses of tall, delicate flowers create a white haze over the fine textured leaves. This muhly grass will be attractive through the winter months, making it a great addition to any landscape. Will work great as an accent plant are in large clumps that make a statement. Plant in full sun, water occasionally once established. Fast growing up to 4 feet tall with blooms and just as wide.

Blue Bayou Pampas Grass

As summer comes to an end (and we are promised some relief from the heat) we will start to see blooms on ornamental grasses. Here at Creekside, Blue Bayou Pampas Grass is already showing off its cream-colored plumes. Blue Bayou is a dwarf Pampas Grass, growing to be about 5’ tall. It is a well-behaved, shorter alternative to traditional Pampas Grass. The name “Blue Bayou” comes from its unique, blue-tinted foliage. It is drought-tolerant, and has exceptional salt tolerance.
