This dwarf bottlebrush stay around 3ft in height with a 5ft spread and have a nice evergreen foliage. The red blooms atop this colorful grower bloom for an extended season. The lanced shaped foliage is blue-green with a fuzzy texture on the new growth. This evergreens dwarf size makes it perfect for smaller gardens. They do best in full sun and work best when pruned in spring before new growth begins although, they can also be pruned after blooming to keep a tidy appearance. Hummingbirds will love this addition to your landscape.

This is an evergreen Yucca with a rosette of unusual blue-green leaves and tall spikes of creamy white, bell-shaped summer flowers. Performs best in full sun and is hardy in Zones 5a – 9b. Requires well drained soil and once established, can survive some drought conditions. Blue Sentry Yucca stands out in a xeriscape type setting or can be planted in large containers. Grows slowly with a mature size of 2-3’H X 2-3’S. While this plant does not have a pronounced spine tip, it is best not to plant in near close pathways or where children or pets may play. Rain lily plants produce adorable blooms following rain showers. Growing rain lilies is not difficult when the right conditions are available to the plant. These plants are reliably hardy in zones 7-10. Gardeners in colder growing zones can still enjoy these plants in containers, where they perform reliably as border fillers. The plants grow from three to eighteen inches tall, and bloom from summer until frost depending on the variety! The foliage is grassy and bright green, and tends to have a prostrate habit. An individual flower will only last a few days, with the heaviest flush of bloom occurring first. The bulbs may bloom occasionally throughout the rest of the season, especially after a heavy rain. This easy-to-grow, native ornamental grass provides gorgeous late-season color! Rose-mauve flower plumes provide an airy effect to the landscape beginning late summer. Plant en masse, in a patio container or place between shrubs in the landscape. Cutting back in late winter or early spring and some food in spring will keep your grass in amazing shape. Oleander do particularly well in coastal landscapes because of its salt tolerance, making it the perfect plant for areas such as Galveston and even down into the South Texas Coast. Cold hardy from zones 8-10, Oleanders can tolerate a broad range of soils, from a heavy clay to a well-drained sand. It is a drought tolerant and a deer resistant plant that performs well in both residential and commercial landscapes. Although native to the Mediterranean region, Oleanders perform well and are widely planted throughout the southern United States.
