Sandankwa Viburnum

This popular, dense evergreen shrub with leathery dark green leaves is fast growing and can grow up to 6-10 ft tall and 3-6 ft wide. Makes a great planting on 3 or 4 ft centers for a woodland hedge effect, and can be grouped with contrasting textures and perennials to add visual interest! Sandankwa Viburnum can also be used as a screen to hide those pesky unwanted views! In early spring, clusters of light pink tubular flowers will appear followed by red berries that darken to black. Available here at Creekside Nursery in a 3 and 7 gallon container.

Silver Surfer Agave

Years ago, the only place we saw these odd and exotic plants was traveling through the great southwest or in Mexico on that family vacation! The Silver Surfer Agave in particular is a large, clumping Agave with silvery-blue leaves edged with spines which makes a great color addition to the landscape! Like most Agave, the Silver Surfer is heat and drought tolerant and grows well in any well-drained soil. Currently available here at Creekside Nursery in a 15g pot!

Tangerine Beauty Crossvine

Tangerine Beauty Crossvine is available here at Creekside Nursery in 1 and 5 gallon staked sizes. This is a vigorous, woody vine that makes a great covering for fences and trellis work. Will attach to other surfaces via tendrils without causing ill effects to the surface. Clusters of tangerine-orange, trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow throats bloom all summer long. Easily grown in Zones 6 – 10, it can grow 10-20 feet tall and will spread as far as you will allow. Although it is a sun loving plant, it is highly adaptable and will grow in just about any condition. The hummingbirds, bees and other pollinators will love you for adorning your yard with one of these lovelies!

Fig Ivy

This is a creeping perennial vine that adheres to surfaces by way of aerial roots along the spreading stems. The leaves are heart-shaped and bright green when young, maturing to dark green. It can have many shades of green on the same plant. Climbs quickly and can grow up to 25’ tall with a 3+’ spread per plant. Trim back old growth to promote new growth. Great for covering a brick or concrete wall, an arbor, a trellis or fences. Also can be used on topiary wiring to create shapes and designs. Considered an evergreen in protected areas and thrives in Zones 9-11.
