What's New

Foxtail Fern

The Foxtail Fern displays bright green fluffy foliage spikes that add a unique textural contrast to perennial beds, borders and mixed containers. The long plume-like stems hold soft needle-like leaves and develops red berries in fall. This particular fern variety is a popular choice for hanging baskets and containers but works equally well when planted in mass or used as an edging plant. We currently offer the Foxtail Fern in a 1g, 3g, and 12qt flat.

Star Jasmine

Star Jasmine is a vigorous climbing vine with glossy green foliage and masses of fragrant, star-shaped white flowers in spring, and sporadically in summer. Star Jasmine makes a perfect covering for fences or trellises or can be left to sprawl along the ground, eventually forming a thick mat of foliage.

Gardenia ‘Buttons’

Gardenia ‘Buttons’ is a small evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves and intensely fragrant, semi-double, white flowers, sporting a golden yellow ‘button’ in the center. A sun lover, it is heat tolerant, but does best with morning sun and afternoon shade to help prevent leaf scorch in hotter climates. Mature growth habit is up to 24-30 in. tall and wide. The fragrant blooms are perfect for cut flower arrangements. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage new blooming. New here at Creekside this year and offered in a 3 gallon container.

Lantanas

Looking for a heat-loving plant that will brighten your landscape with splashes of color? We carry a wide variety of Lantanas that can fit that bill perfectly! Heat and drought tolerant, they offer not only beautiful flowers, but aromatic foliage. Their wide array of colorful blooms attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies, while having the opposite effect on deer and rabbits. These tough and durable plants require little watering once established and will bloom from Spring through Fall. If they begin to look leggy or start to set fruit, just trim them back heavily and new growth will start flushing out quickly. Performs best in Zones 8-12 in full to partial sun.
