Salvia

Salvia plants also known as sage, are long blooming, deer resistant and easy to care for. This garden perennial is essential for feeding honey bees and a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies. Most salvias thrive in full sun but will bloom in light shade. Salvia will grow in clay to sandy soil making them low maintenance. Heights from 12" to 3' with a spread of 2-4', will grow in Zones 4-9. Trim back throughout the growing season to keep them under control and to increase blooming
